I absolutely love a spring wedding at Wrightsville Manor! As wonderful as spring weddings are, they can oftentimes be unpredictable as far as weather is concerned. The morning I woke up for this wedding, the forecast was calling for a 100% chance of rain ALL day. I didn’t let this concern me, but I hoped my couple wouldn’t be sad at the not so ideal weather chances. When I arrived on site to Wrightsville Manor, I brought my best energy (gotta keep it sunny, right?) and my sweet bride Amber looked so at peace and happy even though weather wasn’t looking to be on our side. I think that kind of energy helped shift the weather pattern in some way, because let me tell you this: It did NOT rain on us pretty much the entire day! Can you believe?! We were all so shocked and yet, really thrilled!
Amber will forever be known as my sunshine bride. I think when you see her smile throughout this spring wedding at Wrightsville Manor (despite the weather concerns and everything) you’ll see exactly what I mean. The couple really did have a rockstar vendor team including one of my favorite NC floral teams, Designs by Dillon! Their planning team at Gather Events came together to pull off an awesome rain plan. This included a beautiful clear top tent. Honestly, if it’s going to rain on your day, you can’t get a prettier option than a clear top tent. It’s like being outside without a worry of the elements!
Are you planning a spring wedding?! If so, remember a few things. You can’t predict the weather, so even if things look scary, they could turn out wonderful! Proof is right here! Just in case though, I always suggest grabbing enough clear umbrella’s for your immediate wedding squad! This helps with photos on a rainy day.
