Alex & Will’s Prestonwood Country Club Wedding was a classy and beautiful party! I am lucky that Will is the brother of a past client! I connected with his sister so much that I was an easy thought for a photographer once he proposed to the lovely, Alexandra! 🙂

Alex and Will’sPrestonwood Country Club wedding day actually ended up as a completely different plan from their original dream. As you’re used to seeing at this point, their original date in 2020 was rescheduled. From there, they lost their two original wedding venues. Most people might just given up on the wedding dream at that point and may have decided to elope instead. On the flipside, Alex and Will were patient and steadfast in planning an altogether new celebration in 2021.

2021 VISION

They postponed the day nearly an entire year further! This meant new venues for both their ceremony and reception giving their day a brand new kind of vision! 2021 vision, if you will.

If you’re seeking a classic cathedral for your wedding ceremony, but don’t want to compromise on beautiful light, let me point you in the direction of THIS beyond gorgeous cathedral in Raleigh where Will and Alex finally were able to say ‘I do’! Full transparency, us photographers get kind of nervous with cathedral weddings at times. These venues have a lot of rules, which limit our shooting capabilities and can be kind of a pain all around. Alex and Will’s ceremony site did have rules of limitation, but the lighting inside the building is so gorgeous, the photos were perfect with the natural light that came through all the beautiful windows. The rules were easy to oblige by and I would gladly photograph here anytime! Haha!

Prestonwood made for an awesome reception location. The ball room was grand and gave everyone plenty of space to stay distant if they chose to and lots of dance floor space if they wanted to party!
