A colorful spring wedding at one of my favorite venues ever, The Meadows Raleigh? Yes, please! Although we had to wait nearly a year later for this amazing celebration of fun and color for Sarah and Zack, the wait was worth every moment. Sarah’s vision for her wedding day was to create a space of light in the midst of what was otherwise a heavy time for everyone. Every single detail included a pop of color, a mix of fun and whole lotta love.
The couple opted away from a traditional wedding party, but instead wanted to include their entire guest list in on their theme. When I asked Sarah what her vision was for the wedding details and attire she told me “Psychedelic Garden Party… and I want everyone to wear a lot of color!” It’s safe to say as you look through these images that the couple’s family and friends aced the assignment. I’ve never been to or photographed a wedding that included such a fun array of patterns and colors, far and wide. One of their guests, who was also their officiant even wore a garden themed suit. It was amazing. The entire day was something out of my own wedding dreams.
