This wedding at The Meadows in Raleigh, NC is full of literally everything I love about a wedding day. Firstly, Ariel & Zach, are what I think of when someone mentions the term ‘ideal client’. Although, admittedly, I’m not crazy about that term. I’m more into being the ideal photographer for those that do truly connect with me. However, this really was the best match and I love them dearly.
Ariel wore a blush dress, gave me tequila shots to take with her and the ladies. She focused on fun and the couple had the happiest attitude all day. It truly was incredible. In addition, this perfect match was confirmed once I learned about their cat at home named ‘Kitty Purry’! Yes, they are literally my client soul mates and any wedding at The Meadows is bound to give me real life heart eyes.
Did someone say soul mates?
Yes, speaking of soul mates, one of my favorite parts of this wedding at the Meadows actually had nothing to do with all the physical beauty that shined and there was a lot of that! The was major power in their words for one another. I’m paraphrasing here, but at one point Ariel mention the following powerful statement in her vows.
“Although I don’t believe in soul mates, I do believe we share something that is so much more powerful than that. We have the right to our own choices and we choose to love each other every day. We chose this moment and we chose spend our lives together with love”.
I’m sure she put it even more powerful than that, but you understand the sentiment. Their words for one another, including Zach’s, were to date my favorite vow readings I’ve ever heard. They were so full of honest truths about love and life. It really showed me the maturity and strength in their relationship that lead up to the very moment of their wedding at The Meadows.
