• HOW DO WE BOOK?
I try to keep this simple + seamless. Once you tell me the package you want with any add-ons, I will send over a booking proposal with everything attached. The proposal contains your wedding contract and payment portal. You read the contract, sign it and then place your deposit. The deposit is 30% of the total which goes toward your final balance; the rest is due one week before the wedding date!
• CAN WE SEE FULL GALLERIES?
Of course! You better be asking photographers you're inquiring with to see full galleries! I will send you a link to a ton of REAL weddings so that you are confident that I'm not just curating a feed or site or image that just 'looks' like I know what I'm doing. When you inquire, my information guide will have a link that connects to many full galleries for you to view for yourself.
• DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE?
Yes. I'm super legit and can provide your venue(s) with my proof of insurance whenever you/they need it.
• HOW DOES THE PHOTO DELIVERY PROCESS WORK?
About 2-4 weeks after your event, your delivered images will be sent via an online gallery link where you can see, share, download and even order high quality studio prints + albums if you desire. You are given a print release as well if you have a print shop of your choice...but like, supporting me would be cool too, so I encourage print orders through your gallery for both quality assurance and the fact that it's helpful to my bottom line.
• HOW MANY IMAGES SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM A WEDDING/ENGAGEMENT.
If it's a good image, it's yours. I only cull out (photo speak for get rid of) images that simply aren't going to reflect well upon my standard of work. What this means are things like: test images for lighting purposes, photos where your eyes are closed when they shouldn't be, unflattering angles or over/under exposed (blown out) photos. The others? THEY ARE ALL YOURS! I'll edit each image and those photos will all be sent to you through your gallery. How many on average you'll ask? It depends. Each wedding is different. I could be there for 6 hours or I could be there 10. You could have a 20 person bridal party or you can have four people. Every factor of a wedding determines the exact number of photos, but on average you get about 700-1000 images for a wedding day and around 100-150 for an engagement sesh.
• WILL YOU TOUR OUR VENUE?
This is where trust in your photographer is important. I truthfully don't have the time to travel to every venue on my own dime to look at a blank slate with lighting that might not even be consistent with the light we have on your wedding day. Although I'm not one to tour venues before it's go time, I ALWAYS arrive early on the day of, especially when I haven't shot at a location before to check the places I find aesthetically pleasing that also will give you the most flattering light for photos as possible too. I know you and other vendors will be going to the venue for planning purposes, so shoot me some pics of it if you'd like: I'm always a fan of looking at a place through someone else's perspective before viewing it through my own.
• CAN WE HAVE THE RAW FILES?
The easiest way to say this: No. However, I want you to trust that I will always deliver the best photos and I won't hold any good images hostage. It's your day and I want you to relive it forever, fully.
• OUR WEDDING IS OUTSIDE OF THE SOUTHEAST, DO YOU TRAVEL?
My passport is ready for some fresh stamps, so chyeah! Even if you're not jumping the proverbial pond, I'm still available and willing to travel through the U.S. as well. Places I've been for weddings so far include: FL, NC, SC, GA, IL, NJ, WI, NY (state and city), Mexico and Italy. Let's find somewhere new to experience!
• BUT LIKE, I'M AWKWARD...WE'RE AWKWARD.
Listen, it's literally my job to make you feel as comfortable and 'damn I look good!' in front of a camera as possible. Is it daunting when you haven't done this before? Sure, but after a few minutes of warming up and just listening to my direction, you'll pretty much be the model of your friend group for the rest of forever, okay? Okay. ;)
