I went full emoji heart eyes for the yummy pools of golden light that stuck around ALL throughout this Engagement Session at Pullen Park. Basically, if you live in Raleigh, and you want that *good light* for your engagement photos, Pullen Park is your place! Not only is the light amazing, but the backdrop of lush greens is equally beautiful. The location is also easy to navigate, central to the Raleigh area and close to many hot spots for your post session food and drink needs. Ya know, the important things.
Here’s a few things you should know before planning your Engagement Session at Pullen Park :
• The best spaces to shoot for this golden light are along the main loop around the water. I like the start at the bridge and work my way around so that I always have that pretty back light and my couples aren’t squinting into the sun!
• Pullen Park is a popular place for a lot of people. There is a carousel on location and the park includes a playground (away from the water loop) so if you’re look to avoid crowds, stay away from the populated park or maybe choose somewhere a little more private!
• This location definitely includes a LOT of walking. The majority of your walk will be on the concrete pathway, but there are some spaces (you’ll see i this post) where you’ll walk on less than sturdy ground. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes so that you’re happy throughout the session!
• Choosing the right colors for your outfits really helps bring the beauty of this park to life! I suggest taking notes from Anna and Matt here because their outfits worked really well with this location.
