Micro Wedding at The Graylyn Estate with Meghan & Tim.
I was SO ready to see Meghan & Tim on their wedding day! I mean, I’m always excited to see my couples, but Megan & Tim were one of the earliest couples of mine who faced a reschedule due to Covid-19 safety precautions. Thereupon the news that came to us mid-March, the couple handled this unfortunate situation with grace. Firstly, they reached out to each vendor in a timely manner to discuss postponement plans. Secondly, as tough as this was on the couple and their families, they always kept in mind how much the current climate was affecting the small business owners (like myself) and they were super compassionate throughout the reschedule process. Lastly, they kept a positive spirit throughout the entire process and eventually we made it all happen!
Instead of waiting around for (who knows how) long, the couple decided to postpone their event a few months out to a Monday early Fall date which included only inviting only their immediate family and few close friends. Coupled with the continued condition of Covid, masks were handed out to everyone, even Joshua and I! (We still wear ours all the time, they are so nice!)
Even though this change in plans might seem like a bummer when originally the couple always envisions a party, I firmly believe Meghan and Tim had the perfect Micro Wedding at The Graylyn Estate. Justly, the amount of people around them to shower them with love was just right. Overall, they were able to have deeper, more meaningful conversations with their guests. Undoubtedly, with less friends/family vying for their attention, they were able to connect much more with the ones who were present with them.
Nevertheless, those extra guests still got to witness the occasion in only a way 2020 would bring. The couple snuck away right after ceremony to greet their Zoom guests! …& yes, their kitties were also part of the Zoom guest list. How freaking cute?!
Want to see more of these cuties?! We did their engagement session right across the street from Graylyn Estate at Reynolda Gardens! Check it out, here!
