Intimate Wedding at Camellia Gardens with Courtney & Nick.
For one thing, pretty much everyone on the planet agrees that Covid has changed a lot of plans. Markedly, the couple you’ll see here were supposed to get married in April. (Just a note, you can still see the original date on the invites!) Due to the pandemic, an obvious shift in event dates took place and we found ourselves celebrating in the early days of Fall. Evidently much different than the originally planned Spring wedding date. Regardless of the obstacles we each faced to get to this day, Courtney and Nick never showed the stress of all the sudden and difficult decisions they were faced with. Above all, I think the grace they showed throughout each change gave way for so many beautiful moments once their wedding day finally did arrive.
I know I haven’t been able to photograph a ton a weddings this year, (I had 23 postponed wedding dates) but I will say, Courtney and Nick’s small, yet magnificent celebration will always stick to me as a forever favorite.
Firstly, when it comes to this intimate wedding at Camellia Gardens, Courtney and Nick have the kind of love that just shines without any force. It’s just there and everyone who is around them can and will see that. I’m just lucky enough to have been able to photograph the magic that is their love. In addition to their cuteness, the day itself was just really pretty. Perfect weather, dreamy light, a beautiful venue, great food, an amazing music playlist, the most helpful team of vendors — it was ALL just perfect. Undoubtedly, the day became top notch when Courtney surprised everyone with her party jumpsuit! I love this idea for my girls that love to dance and want to do so both comfortably and stylishly.
