By all means, this industrial downtown wedding at Armature Works was in one of my favorite spaces on the site of the venue area, at The Gathering Room!
Undoubtedly, the area is spacious and can be dressed up in any style you desire. Contrarily, it can also be left alone to let the industrial feeling of the building speak for itself. Or course, I was so happy when Mary Grace and Bryce invited my along to celebrate their special day. Seeing that it was in such a great location was just the bonus point!
Surely, one of the first things I ask MG was about their relationship and how it ‘sparked’. She replied:
Above all, Bryce Smith is THE BEST. We met at a bar in Dallas where he lives, I live in Austin but grew up in Tampa. I saw him do a “double-take” when I walked in the door and that was it. Our first date was to the State Fair of Texas. I vividly remember walking by the ferris wheel thinking “I could do this for the rest of my life.” We went ring shopping a month later and he proposed in January. Both of our families and best friends were there, hiding behind the bushes! He’s the kindest, smartest, most warm man I know and he looks so. dang. good. in a suit! *drooling*
In other words, When ya know, ya freaking know — ya know? 😉
Before, I mentioned how much I loved The Gathering Room for a wedding/event space. However, I cannot forget the beautiful Rooftop 220 and the awesome views of the Downtown Tampa Bay area that it offers. Similarly, you can check out what a beautiful celebration there would look like by viewing this wedding I photographed there, late last year!
