Firstly, I was so happy to meet Asaf & Dana for their Sanders Ridge Winery engagement session! From the start, I was blown away at the beautiful location. Firstly, it’s only a short drive from my home in Winston-Salem. Secondly, where there is a vineyard, there is wine.
Jokes aside, the gorgeous location is set in the foothills of NC’s smoky mountains. It provides beautiful sunset light and many different looks in one space without having to trek very far. We used the venue for their engagement session alone, but Sanders Ridge does provide event space for weddings! It’s worth checking out, even if you just want a good ‘wine with a view’ fix.
As you can see from the images alone, these two are smitten for one another. In fact, Asaf wrote an entire story about how he and Dana met and fell in love, all the way to how their actual proposal went down. Clearly, as soon as I read this and learned a little more about them, I knew I had to capture this special love in person.
In addition, I will be traveling down to Alabama for their wedding next year! I can’t wait to document them declaring their love amongst their closest friends/family. Certainly, I will photograph them tearing up the dance floor all night as well, of course.
