On this last day of 2016, I’d like to share with you my last wedding of 2016!
Regardless of the outcome of this wedding– the look, the style, the moments — I was going to blog it. Why would I think to do that? Well, this is the wedding that rounded out the end of what is probably the greatest year of my life. A year in which I finally took the leap to become full time 100% as a wedding photographer — no more ‘side hustle’, no more fear, no more excuses. This is a year in which I traveled more and busted my ass harder than I ever thought I could, being away from home a majority of the better half of the year, not seeing friends/family, missing important events, paying rent and bills in an apartment I was pretty much NOT occupying at ALL in order to fulfill this crazy fantasy of mine — which happened to turn into full-blown reality. On top of ‘finding myself’ career wise, and keeping both a mentally/physically positive relationship with myself, I just so happened to meet the man that would change every view I ever had on love and happiness. My other half, who quickly became my absolute best friend. I’m so thrilled for the following year, and I hope for so many there after. A life full of fearless emotion, limitless adventure, and unknown possibilities.
Again, I said I was going to share this wedding no matter what ^ and that above is WHY — however, I’m pretty stoked to showcase such a moving celebration. This wasn’t a typical wedding — no DJ, no dance floor party, no flinging of bouquets or tearing off garters — Rather a dinner celebration chock full of everything we experience as humans throughout the year. Laughs, Tears, Smiles — this day had it all. A perfect end to the perfect year.
Happy New Year, Everyone. I hope you all rock 2017. <3
